I walked in to labor this afternoon like I would any other afternoon.
I stopped by the front desk & chatted with Liz about the weather.
My friend and I exchanged the events of our weekend & moved along, just like my associate and I would any other afternoon. As I walked to my office, which happens to be the last one in the hall, I opened the door & right away knew that something was wrong with the temperature control. My office had clearly not acquired any air circulation all weekend, as the air was thick & stale. I set down my things & tinkered with the digital temperature control for a minute or two until returning to the front desk. I asked Liz if he was aware of any complications with the AC in other offices. She clearly had not acquired any other complaints. She was confused & asked if I was sure the temperature control was not set to a higher temperature by the cleaning crew. They tend to adjust the temperature control to different temperatures from time to time, so of course, that was my first thought. She walked back with me to my office & was right away stunned by how moderate the office had become over the weekend. She looked at the temperature control & did the same thing that I had already done. My friend and I called the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation to come in & take a look. The earliest appointment was not until the following afternoon. I opted to labor in a different office that afternoon. The AC was back to normal toiling order the next afternoon.
