I try to plan a fun and education trip for my family every summer.
I have four teenagers and they can get a little stir crazy if they are cooped up in the condo all day long.
So, this Summer I have decided to take them to a historical city that mimics life the way it was in the 1700s, and this means my pal and I will go fishing for our food, make our own supplies and live separate from a heating and cooling system. I know my teenagers aren’t going to be glad about not having central air conditioning for a couple of days, however I suppose it will be a good lesson for them. I don’t want them to grow up spoiled and suppose everyone is fortunate enough to have a heating and cooling system in their home; When my pal and I first got to the city they didn’t even notice that their wasn’t air conditioning. However, after spending a long day outside laboring and playing they were ready to come condo to the A/C. When they realized our household didn’t have any air conditioning they were not cheerful. They complained and said they were ready to go back home. I told them my pal and I were going to stick it out and that they would cherish having a laboring A/C even more when my pal and I got back home. I knew they were going to have this reaction, however I wanted them to see how good they had it. The minute my pal and I got condo from our trip they all ran and sat under the A/C vent for hours.
