A year ago, my associate and I started thinking about upgrading the heating component in our rental vacation condo mostly to remain competitive and save on energy after my associate and I saw most of our competitors take the option provided under Airbnb.

My pal and I were concerned about what it would mean for us if the other vacation properties were offering an electric heat pump while my associate and I stuck to a boiler that was old enough to demand yearly boiler service.

The heating professional told us that a heat pump replacement would mean less service and my associate and I could comfortably ensure our clients cherish indoor comfort and perfect air quality with the HEPA filter and wireless temperature control that comes with the electric furnace. It was a sudden decision but also the best decision my associate and I made for our rental because we’ve had clients inquire about it, including returning clients who could tell the difference in how the condo felt. To get the electric Heating and A/C, my associate and I had to visit many Heating and A/C shops and compare their pricing with the Heating and A/C products for sale because my associate and I needed a legitimate deal. After all, the project had not been planned for and my associate and I were using emergency money under the assumption that this was something that needed to be resolved as soon as possible. The shop where my associate and I got the Heating and A/C serviceman who ran tests on and handled repair work for us had the best deal, a perk for us because they were correct with the house, which increased our trust that we’d get the best replacement. A year later and my associate and I all agree that it was a good option because this Summer my associate and I haven’t been getting random calls from clients that the condo needs air conditioning help and having to call the Heating and A/C specialist at the oddest hours.
