It’s crazy how things just come out of nowhere.
Andrea had never seen such a terrifying Summer storm, and he was terrified.
She recalls hearing a storm warning on the radio in his area. The weatherman warned everyone to brace themselves for severe weather. However, no one was alarmed because normal Summer storms aren’t so bad. Andrea was prepared for flooding. She made it a point to clear out his yard whenever there were signs of a storm. Then he stowed the deck furniture to keep it from blowing away. Andrea also went to the store to make sure he had enough food and gas for the generator. These were the usual things to do when a storm was approaching. Andrea, on the other hand, was mistaken because this was a much worse storm that lasted much longer. She was left without power, and a tree fell on his stone roof. Andrea was in his kitchen when he heard a loud bang as the tree fell. She was upset that there was a hole, but he didn’t dare go to the attic to check until the storm had passed. The tree caused extensive damage, and Andrea required immediate stone roof repair. She consulted a local roofing supplier after the incident because he didn’t want further damage to the roof and his home. Two roofing companies arrived, moved the tree with machinery, and proceeded with stone roof repair. Andrea was so upbeat that he didn’t have to think about the cost of stone roof replacement because it would have blown his budget.
