A friend of mine wanted to come visit me, so we spoke on the phone about the right dates.
My friend and I both work full time so we needed to make sure we got the timing right.
Apart from visiting me, she also wanted to see my apartment area. For the longest time, my friend & her family wanted to relocate to a new area. Her & her partner grew up in the same town & had even gone to school in the area. So it felt like the right time to try & find a new section to live in. This would also provide their two year old with an opening to explore new locations. We’d spoken on the phone about when she’d come for a visit. At that time, we didn’t have a timeline but she now felt it was the right time for the visit. First though she had to make sure their roof was in the best condition. The goal was to put their apartment on the market soon, however not before getting urgent roof repair. My friend had mentioned that they were having troubles with their beat up roof, and so they had to consult a roofing supplier before making any decision. Selling a household depends on its current condition & no one wants a problematic roof. The best thing to do was get a roofing supplier to send a roofing supplier for an inspection. The woman said the roof could last another 12 years, however only with regular roofing repair. Otherwise, they’d be forced to do roofing updates if the troubles went on for longer. My friend wanted to be there for the roofing repair then she’d come for the visit.
