That Amish furniture vendor is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in that town.

One of my all-time favorite hobbies is to go to nearby flea markets. Perhaps it’s not a hobby because it’s nothing more than a shopping adventure. I love visiting flea markets in the town I live in as well as other towns that I visit. Flea markets are filled with lots of treasures and with patience you can certainly find some incredible gems that are worth every second you spend searching. Some of the best pieces of handmade furniture in my house were found inside random flea markets. In fact, a few years ago while visiting a flea market, I came across an Amish furniture vendor that sold nothing but handmade furniture. The vendor sold handmade wooden chairs, coffee tables, handmade accent pieces, and so much more. And best of all, each piece was a one-of-a-kind design so no two were the same. I was so impressed with the handmade furniture that I purchased a few pieces for my house. I got 2 wooden chairs for my bedroom, and I got 2 really cool end tables. I even found a couple of handmade pieces for my mom. She also loves handmade furniture, perhaps not as much as I do. That Amish furniture vendor is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in that town. Aside from going to flea markets to find unique pieces, a yard sale is another great way to find handmade furniture. I once ran into a family where the husband built furniture from a shed in his yard. And because he had so many pieces of furniture sitting in his shed, the family decided to have a yard sale to get rid of some of the handmade furniture.
