There really is some truth to the saying that it’s all in the details.
For sure, there are details that when missing, can really screw things up.
But for me, there are times when those little details can make all the difference as well. This has been so true when it comes to the small change I made earlier this Spring when it came to the HVAC equipment. The office was closed for a week in early March as our entire commercial HVAC system was updated. So we all had to work from home again like we did during the pandemic. Thankfully, it was early March which is just wonderful weather around here. We don’t get much Winter so it’s not like we have any heating on in early March. No, the windows are open and Spring is well underway at that point. Since I was home, I figured I’d get the air conditioning tune up done early. I’d need the air conditioning sooner rather than later so I’d get the HVAC maintenance done early. Since I was at home, I got to talk with the HVAC technician a bit. We talked about pet dander and other allergens that I wanted to do without inside the central air conditioning of my home. I had priced out air purifiers and that was a bit more of a commitment that I was willing to make at this point. So the HVAC professional suggested that I upgrade the air filter for the HVAC equipment. I now have a HEPA filter which removes more than 99 percent of all indoor air contaminants including pet dander and other allergens. I was amazed how such a small HVAC equipment detail could make such a dramatic impact in my home.
