I relish in the fact that the natural gas heating system hasn’t kicked on in like four consecutive afternoons.

At least I don’t believe it has.

I sleep pretty soundly so the natural gas heating system may have finished making on for a bit while in the early hours of the afternoon. The lows have been in the upper 40’s which is music to my ears. I believe Ed and I are officially done with Winter. There is consistently a chance of getting whacked with another rouge freezing front before Ed and I are completely out of the woods. But I’ll be calling for the air conditioning tune up this week. Actually, this winter season was the easiest one we’ve had since moving up here. I believe part of that it is getting a bit more acclimated to the severity of this sort of Winter. It took me a few years just to get over the shock of how freezing cold the weather can be up here. Little by little, I’ve learned how to prepare for the winter season plus make things a bit better inside my home. Last Winter, I got a very rude awakening that has since changed how I go about preparing for the winter weather… During one of the coldest evenings of the year, our natural gas heating system stopped working. It just quit with an audible thud. I tried in vain to get the Heating as well as Air Conditioning equipment to turn on again. There was no waiting until afternoon because it was just so bitterly freezing outside. So I called for an emergency Heating as well as Air Conditioning repair plus that cost me plenty of dough. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning business told me that if I had gotten heating repairs done prior to the Winter, this problem would have been caught. So now, I’m a firm believer when it comes to seasonal Heating as well as Air Conditioning repair.
