Our animal Max would not have done that, would he? We checked the pile of air filters on the basement floor and they all stinked.

It is the annual change of your filters day. We change our filters once every 3 weeks because we love to stay up on that maintenance. We have a pile of brand new ones which we opened and placed in a stack on our basement floor. It’s honestly about 2 years worth. We open them because when we do the change, we don’t want to spend time opening them and in this way we can do the change fast. We used to have an HVAC professional come to our lake house and do this. She gave us a lesson on how to do this ourselves so we can save money. We loved that about the HVAC business around here. They went above and beyond to look out for their customers. The last few days everything in our lake house started to stink awfully. We didn’t know where it was coming from but then thought maybe something died and maybe it was in our heating vents. We had to call the HVAC dealer and they sent out a heating and cooling tech. After she examined it, she said the stink was animal pee. We were confused at first. Our animal Max would not have done that, would he? We checked the pile of air filters on the basement floor and they all stinked. It was disgusting and we were disgusted with Max. The HVAC professional upgraded the air filters we had and said we should store them someplace else going forward. We learned our lesson that afternoon. Don’t leave your air filters on the ground, you never think if your animal will pee on them.
