There are several must haves homeowners put on their list when looking to purchase their first home.
A certain amount of family rooms and bathrooms usually tops the list. SOme look for a garage, a substantial yard, a certain neighborhood, etc. Many people forget to include central air conditioning and heating on their must have lists because they think that all homes are equipped with heating and cooling. I have a buddy who is a realtor and he was trying to accommodate a couple’s checklist for their first home. She found a apartment for them, but the only downside was there was no central air conditioning and heating. The apartment checked all of their other boxes, such as a wrap around porch, wood floors, substantial windows, substantial kitchen, and sizable yard. The couple fell in savor with the apartment but they were completely stuck on whether or not they would be willing to purchase a apartment that did not come with central heating and A/C. The couple decided to reach out to their nice buddy who happens to be a supplier at a local heating, ventilation, and cooling corporation. Steve, the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier asked if he could go tour the house with them to see how complicated it would be to install heating and cooling in their dream home. Steve used his knowledge of Heating and Air Conditioning and determined that it would not be entirely hard to install heating and cooling. He even offered them a friends and family discount if they decided to use his Heating and Air Conditioning supplier for this project. The couple purchased the apartment and had Steve install the heating and cooling.
