There were even a few times where the student sitting next to me had to push me away from them after the air conditioner had made me start to doze off as well as lean over
Looking back on things, I didn’t like my high school, nor did I hate it. I assume I had a sort of mutual agreement with the system that I would put forth enough effort to pass as well as it wouldn’t bother me too much about it. At least the elective classes were fun, even if I wasn’t the most athletic or artistic student, as well as I did cherish my computer classes. I’d say I had pretty so-so teachers, as well as I can most clearly remember the assemblies my buddy and I had. It seemed like my buddy and I had assemblies for just about everything, as well as there was always at least one a month. All of the students had to file into the gym in groups based on their grade as well as stand cucumbered together on the bleachers. The principal of the school was legitimately long winded as well as his speeches went on for such a long time that it was taxing to absolutely focus on what he was saying. And then there was also the air conditioner in the gym. While most of the school hallways had fairly normal temperature control, all of the major rooms as well as classrooms seemed to have the air conditioner component running on high all year long. The Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C system blasting during the assemblies chilled the gym, despite the body heat of the surrounding students, as well as the cool air always made me feel particularly drowsy. There were even a few times where the student sitting next to me had to push me away from them after the air conditioner had made me start to doze off as well as lean over. The pep assemblies could keep me up though, with the band as well as cheerleader performances. They were particularly the best part of my high school as well as its assemblies.
