I work at a heating and cooling company as an HVAC technician, and my boss gave me too many cray jobs to do and I couldn’t get them all done.
Since I am really good at working with difficult customers, my boss would always send me on jobs that dealt with strange or difficult customers.
Last week, my boss sent me on three different jobs that were all very hard and all took a long time. The first job was fixing a central air conditioner for a elderly woman who was always telling me how she liked the other HVAC technician better, but he had retired and she had no other choice but to have ve fix her central air codntienr for her. The next job was fixing an old furnace and ventilation system in the house of an old man who watched me the entire time. Every time I did something to his furnace, he tried to tell me that he knew a better way to fix it, and that when he was younger the furnaces weren’t so complicated. He was convinced that HVAC technicians were inherently evil and only wanted to make more complex heating and cooling units just so that people wouldn’t know how to fix it themselves and thus would have to hire an HVAC technician to do it for them. I was so frustrated by the time that I was done with fixing that old man’s furnace that I called my boss and told him I had to take a break and couldn’t go to the third house that day. Being an HVAC technician can get hard sometimes.
