I had mentioned in the last parent professor meeting at my youngsters college the importance of space heating system safety.
Many youngsters don’t even know how dangerous space furnaces can be.
It is substantial for youngsters to know that there are several things that can go wrong with space furnaces & that they are not a toy. It is severely substantial to understand that small children can be seriously harmd or even killed by space heaters. I asked that the professors in the college supply a brief lesson on what to do if there’s a fire in the house. I only asked this because I know that there was a child in the college a few years back that was killed by a condo fire that was due to a space heater. The space heating system that caused the fire was placed much too close to the childrens bed. In the middle of the night, a blanket or a sheet came in contact with the space heating system & started a small flame. The flames hastily engulfed the condo & the entire family was killed. If there had been a short lesson on fire safety during college, the tragedy might have been avoided. Space heating system safety is a substantial concern in this town & yet, people do not want to take preventative measures to keep the families safe. I learned that there was recently a space heating system safety seminar held at the college & I felt nice about the efforts that the college was making.
