My ex-girlfriend and I broke up a couple of months ago.
I thought that she was going to marry me, but she wasn’t as drastic about the relationship as I was, but when my buddy and I broke up, my Dad and dad were exasperated too.
They liked having my girlfriend around, because she was easily glad. The woman works at a local heating and A/C repair and replacement business! My ex-girlfriend knew a lot about electricity and plumbing too. Anytime my parents had a question about the heating system or the air conditioner, they called to talk to my girlfriend. They might have been more exasperated than I was when my buddy and I broke up. Last weekend, I was staying at my parents house to watch the dogs while they were away for holiday. There was another issue with the air conditioner in the middle of the night. I needed to call someone in an emergency and the only corporation available was the locale where my ex works. I easily did not want to call that locale, because I didn’t want to run into my girlfriend, and unfortunately, it was the only repair with emergency hours. I absolutely didn’t want to wait until the day. It was about 81° outside in the middle of the night and it was only going to get warmer when the sun came out. I called the corporation and took my chances. I was also harshly thankful that it wasn’t my ex-girlfriend that showed up for the overnight repair. The problem wasn’t dire either, so I didn’t have to use my credit card to spend money on the repairman.
