My house has a giant backyard, which is one of the reasons I bought the site, my wifey & youngsters all love the outdoors, so my associate and I spend a relaxing deal of time outside.
My pal and I care about bonfires, having cookouts, playing sports, & sunbathing next to the pool, and one activity my associate and I all care about is frisbee hockey, which is exactly what it sounds like, but alas, sometimes a frisbee can take on a life of its own, & go sailing far off course, then when a frisbee lands on the roof it’s not a big deal, because I have a dozen more frisbees. Once various of them are up on the roofing I need to get out the ladder & climb up to retrieve them. A few mornings ago this happened, & it led to the discovery that I need a full roof replacement, but i am not talking about easy roof repair here, I need to have an entire current one put on my house! I am not a roofing expert, although I know that sheet plywood is laid down over the support beams & then covered with shingles. Although the shingles on my roof looked nice from down below, once I put weight on them I realized the wood beneath was disfigurementd & crumbling to pieces. I instantly called a local roofing business to get an expert opinion, thankfully, the roofing expert was able to calm me down, & said that the disfigurement wasn’t as extensive as I thought… He also told me about sheet metal roofing, which was a little cheaper & a lot more durable.
