We believed we hired someone to do a website for our HVAC company who has qualified for the job.

He promised us a professional HVAC website that would attract customers.

We didn’t know if it attracted customers, because we didn’t know if anyone ever looked at the website. Plus, there was no way to be contacted. We were not happy with the website and how poorly set up it was. We were glad we hadn’t paid him as much as he initially asked for, because we would be suing him. However, we still needed an excellent website for our HVAC company. Just great enough wasn’t going to do. Before we left our office, we made sure the phony expert took the website down and closed the account he had for it. We wrote one last check that said final payment, and never contacted him again. Less than two weeks later, a friend was contacting an online SEO company. One of his fellow teachers recommended it. They talked about our bad website more than once. His child ran an online SEO business, and they had an HVAC specialist on their roster. She could create and maintain a website that would make even the most fastidious of company owners salivate. We laughed at how he described the website we would have created for the HVAC company. When he spoke like that, we knew why he was an English teacher. We were hesitant after what the other web developer did, however all we could do was wait and see. When the HVAC website was running, we knew his fellow teacher hadn’t stretched the truth. The HVAC website was everything and more than we ever imagined it would be.
