Being a homeowner is better than I thought it would be.
For sure, I cherish the fact that I’m no longer living in rented locales.
For more than a decade, I had to share walls with people who weren’t my family. I also had to dread this time of year over and over again. That’s because I just hated living in locales where the Heating and A/C component was overwhelmed, undersized of just plain ancient. I can’t tell you how multiple times I laid awake all night because the air conditioner wasn’t toiling right, and so just being free of that and having fantastic central air conditioner is the best. But there’s even more to the joy of being a homeowner that I wasn’t expecting. Turns out that when you don’t share a wall with your neighbors, it’s a whole lot easier to want to know them. I wasn’t expecting just how much I cherish being part of this town, and having teenagers out playing and folks out walking their dogs is just cool, plus, I cherish being the sort of neighbor who can lend a hand. It’s nice to be trusted like that. I pick up the mail or feed pets for neighbors along my street. And I even will hold a flashlight for a neighbor who needs a hand toiling on something. But when it comes to helping service or service Heating and A/C equipment, I consistently go with just one thing in mind. Sure, I’ll be neighborly in wanting to lend a hand to anyone who needs it. But I’ll also be reminding that neighbor that Heating and A/C service is for the Heating and A/C professionals alone. And that’s just the truth. Not only do my associate and I take a occasion on making things worse by toiling on Heating and A/C equipment, my associate and I will void the warranty as well.
