I was working on Friday at the heating and A/C service when one of our commercial clients called. The manager of the restaurant was frantic because none of the A/C units were working in the restaurant. The place has numerous ductless mini split systems that are located throughout the restaurant and inside of the kitchen. It sounded like there was a problem with the outdoor unit. I had a commercial service specialist ready to go in a few minutes. I decided to join the commercial service specialist, because the man has only been working for the contractor for a month or two. I wanted to make sure that the commercial customer acquired the best service possible. I had the driver parked around the back of the building so our service truck wasn’t in the front parking lot. The manager met us out back where the A/C device is located. I sent the commercial service specialist inside to look over some things and I started looking at the unit outside. I found the issue in a matter of moments, however it required parts that were back at the shop. I stayed and talked to the restaurant manager while the new man drove back to the device shed to pick up parts. I had a burger and fries for supper while we waited for the parts to arrive. It was my first time eating at the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the burger. It was well done and absolutely cooked to perfection.
