Our mom taught us everything we know. Ever since we were about 3 years old we started doing small little tasks. Almost true, our first experience was with a hammer and nail to hang up a silly picture we colored however the nail went through our hand. We still have the scar to this day and we remember the amount of pain we endured. We can say it wasn’t fun for us. Mom just shook her head and from that day she started teaching us. Now, years later she is getting up there in age and she still tries to do everything she did when she was younger even though she struggles. She never asks for help and she will never pay anyone to do work that she feels she still can do. So no electricians, no roofers, no heating and cooling techs, no bug killers, pretty much no one besides herself. With the weather getting warmer mom tried putting in her window air conditioner. We don’t know why she does not get a central air conditioner but this is what she wants to do. So she was trying to put in the window air conditioner and it fell on her. She tried so hard and she realized at that moment that in order for her to know the coolness of the air conditioner she will need our assistance. Mom has done so much for us over the years and we knew in our heart that when this afternoon came we’d be here for her. Mom put it in the window air conditioner and you can tell she was a bit upset even though she smiled knowing we are here to help her going forward.
