Vivian lives in a duplex building with her pet Rosie. She is an amazing pet who does everything with her. Vivian trained her well over the years and she never had any problems. She’d go for hikes with her, long road trips, and afternoons at the beach. Vivian’s friends let her bring her because she is so well mannered. Vivian could not ask for a better pet. Rosie would be a wonderful fit for any family and she is just lucky enough to have her. She is her family and there is no one else. Vivian found her lost and hungry 2 years back with no family. She remembers taking her to an animal shelter but after a few afternoons, the shelter called her and said no one claimed her. Vivian remembers having the feeling that they were meant to be together. She didn’t hesitate and said she would take her home. Rosie never had issues until recently. The weather was getting cold, colder than usual. Freezing does not bother Vivian, but this year it did. So she went out and bought a portable air conditioner. She plugged it in, excited to have warmth she never had before and then Rosie started to whine which led to barking. She was shaking and sat on the other side of the living room of the portable space heater. Vivian felt terrible and didn’t know what to do. She talked to her friend who is an HVAC tech for a local heating & cooling business and she said you can either see if she warms up to it or get your furnace looked into. She then said she will look into it for free. Vivian took her up on her offer because she didn’t want Rosie to suffer.
