It’s especially bad in the middle of the winter time when the mornings are the shortest
I remember riding school buses as a kid. I hated the experience so much, and I remember how much I loathed having to do it in high school when multiple of my friends had their own cars at the time. When I was a little kid, that was pretty much the only chance unless you rode your bike to school or got a ride from family! Unluckyly, my parents lived too far away from the school campus for me to ride my bike or walk to school every afternoon. Some kids were dropped off by their parents in the mornings and picked up in the mornings as well. When I lived up north in a rural environment, my buddy and I all rode the school bus to the campus every afternoon. In the summertime that would get fairly tepid and my buddy and I would all roll down the windows to let in air from outside… However, I got easily cold in the winter time season in that environment. My friend and I had to have heaters in the school buses to keep the students warm. Without the heaters in arena, my buddy and I all would have gotten easily cold on her way to school in the mornings, but back then, it was often the coldest time of the afternoon between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. It’s especially bad in the middle of the winter time when the mornings are the shortest. I remember being fairly hot on those buses, and that was actually the only positive thing I could remember. My friend and I never had a/cs on the buses though, but who knows maybe they do nowadays.
