Today was a superb day.
Work was busy which we like, and is the main reason the afternoon goes by faster.
Even though it’s the middle of the week just to get through Sunday fast is great. The only setback we have is that at the age of 24, we still live with our parents. The other setback of residing with our parents at our age is that they control all aspects of our lives residing in their house. They still have a curfew for us and they still expect us to not live a life of fun with our friends, going out and stumbling back home. They expect us to be the same little kids we were at the age of 9. We think this is a tough pill for them to swallow, however we are getting older but we won’t argue with them at all. We won’t argue with them because we live under their roof and they can say one afternoon, “get out.” We don’t want to ever hear that because we are living rent free currently until we can figure out what we are doing in life. Other than that they control the thermostat and the lake house in the middle of winter time feels like an ice box. Today, we said it’s enough and went out and bought a portable space heater. After buying it from the store our automobile wouldn’t start to head back home. It just sat there, maybe a dead battery, maybe something else and AAA said they won’t be there for an hour or two. We didn’t want to wait so we grabbed our portable heater and jumped on the subway train. We got a lot of odd looks on the train, but when we got home, we felt so much comfort. We forgot about our automobile until the next afternoon.
