These units are always more energy efficient than the average air conditioning as well as heating unit that you would find in a residential home, then while the units do consume energy, the energy consumption is below average. If I were to switch to a sustainable living lifestyle, I would opt for one of those homes with air conditioning as well as heating. To compensate, I would find other ways to reduce my carbon footprint by controlling waste as well as planting trees as well as vegetable gardens.
