After my father passed away, I took on the bulk of the household duties as the eldest son.
My two other siblings are all grown up and attending college now.
My mom is very sick and can’t do much. I’m usually the one to foot the bill for everything, including college tuition for my younger siblings and other bills. My roommate and I both agree that having heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is essential to our comfort throughout the year. But recently, the thermostat stopped working, so I had to schedule an HVAC repair. The air filters my friend and I were using were in terrible shape, so when I called the local business, I also asked if they could deliver replacements. A Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning technician came and fixed the unit even though I warned him it was too old. I was not prepared to incur any additional costs by installing a new HVAC system. However, it was constantly breaking down, and repairs were becoming too costly to be worthwhile. The heat inside the cabin was becoming intolerable. To find out if I could afford a good HVAC system, I went to a local contractor. My HVAC contractor recommended a ductless heat pump, and I ended up purchasing one of their featured brands. Replacement of the HVAC system usually took place in the morning, taking up the whole day. That way, I could buy a new home to give my loved ones some much-needed relief. After my dad passed away, I made a pact with myself to provide for my mom, siblings, and cousins. I wasn’t quite there yet, but I was making progress toward my objectives.
