Getting work can be tough.
Well, at least it used to be. We have been jumping from task to task over the last few years still trying to figure out what we want to do. You’d think that two 30 year olds would have something put together by now. Nope, we are failing at that. So the last few jobs we have been applying for wanted us to do a drug test. It’s no issue. We’ve done 3 in the last 6 weeks and we have passed each of them with flying colors. We don’t personally care who smokes weed or anything however that was never our thing. Today, we woke up like every other day and had an appointment at 9 am. We’re glad we have an appointment because we think some people wait long stretches of time to get in by just sitting in the waiting room. We think that we have a fast appointment. But we usually have to wait hours when we get there regardless. We also feel when we are waiting, the air conditioner is amazing. Where we live it’s always hot and we don’t have an air conditioner in our house so in a way, we look forward to waiting for our drug test. As we parked our automobile we saw an HVAC van and could only hope they had to bring in an HVAC professional to look at their cooling system. We kind of felt frustrated for a moment there, but when we got to the door, we saw the cooling professional smiling with the manager and shaking her hand. Nervous still, we walked in and felt that comfort of the air conditioner and all nervousness vanished. Hopefully, this is the last time we do a drug test.
